Whew!!!

Hello bloggers!  So we were lucky tonight and the big snowstorm of the northeast that is happening missed Pittsburgh for the most part!  That means no snow days this week... yay!  =D

Today I have a really cute little card for you that was inspired by several challenges!  I recently got new stamps from DeNami, and I've been DYING to ink up this one:
I dry embossed the background, stamped this awesome DeNami stamp, colored it in, and then created my embellishment by distressing the edges, blue and orange twine, and a stamped circle.  I added some metallic blue dots to finish it off!  Here's a close-up of the details:
This card was inspired by the following two challenges:
1. OTWC #42
2. DeNami Design Sketch Challenge #6

Lately, I've really been enjoying the chance to make so many types of cards!  At the end of the year, it always feels like all I do is make Christmas cards!  This January has been a fresh and wonderful experience for my crafting mojo!  How have all of you been feeling lately?  Hopefully super creative!  =)
Have you signed up for a chance to win my blog candy yet?  Make sure you do so in the next few days!  I have a super crafty weekend coming up, so be ready for lots of posts next week!

  2. I've been really creative with multiple cards per day this January, too!! It feels so good. Love what you've done with the OTWC colors, and that twine accent is genius. We got the snow that missed you in Pittsburgh--I won't get out to measure it until later when it stops, but it's a lot. Can you say "snow day?" That's the third one this month for my kids. We'll be going to school in July at this rate . . .
