Ladybugs!!!

Hey there blogland!  We are smack dab in the middle of a wonderful weekend at HOME and I'm loving it!  It's been so long since we had a nice, quiet weekend at our house and I have to say it's been lovely!  =)  Not only did I get a bunch of housework done, but I also had LOTS of time this morning to craft!  =D

I was so excited to use this new stamp set from PTI that I recently bought.  It's not a newly released set, but it's new to me and I love LOVE ladybugs!  Anyway, here's my card:
I am really happy with how this card turned out!  I just love LOVE this sentiment, it's so true that you have to stop and enjoy the little joys  in life, like having a weekend at home!  =)
All of these papers came from my box of scraps, which I am trying to use up!  This was convenient since Tuesday Throwdown's challenge this week was scraps!  =)
Speaking of inspiration, this card was inspired by the following challenges:
1. Card Patterns #106 Sketch
2. Tuesday Throwdown #39 - Use Scraps in/on your project
3. Etsy Inspired Challenge #130 - Artwork by Lori/The Royal Bead Shop.  I was inspired by this awesome piece of jewelry to add the flowers to this project:
Black & Red poppy reclaimed leather flower hair clip by Lori Ramotar theroyalbead
Well, I hope that everyone is having a great weekend!  Stay tuned tomorrow for the DeNami March Blog Hop!  It's sure to be a good one!!!!  =D

Second Post of Friday Night Challenge Cards!

Sorry guys... I had to make this two posts in order to enter both into the Wee Memories challenge!

Next, I made this card as well, using some more fun, fun paper and whimsical stamps:
Unfortunately, I've not yet been able to purchase Lawn Fawn's "Cozy Christmas" stamp set, so I used Harold's ABC's to create a sentiment to match this cute little mug that I got in the $1 bin at Michaels!  I also paper-pieced the mug:

This card was inspired by the following challenges:

Thanks for looking as always!  Have a magnificent weekend!

Heebie Jeebies Mania!!!!

Happy Friday everyone!  So today I FINALLY got around to busting out my new Lawn Fawn Heebie Jeebies stamp to create a card for a few challenges!  I hadn't intended for it, but I ended up with a very non-layered card that I really love:

I was happy to get another opportunity to do a little masking as well!  I also hadn't intended to use the baker's twine to extend the web, but I thought it was the perfect touch!  =)
I also did the inside of this card for a little bit of fun with some chipboard that I bought at target's dollar spot and a cute ghost stamp that I got from Studio G:

This card fits the following challenges:
1.  Wee Memories Challenge #27:
2. Papercraft Star Challenge #17: Inspiration Photo

3. Tuesday Throwdown #21: Use THREE of anything (I used three spiders!)

As always, thanks for looking!  I'm off to enjoy the weekend!

Congrats Card for OTWC Challenge #27

Hello hello readers!  Well, I must say I've been feeling mighty inspired this week!  I've also been trying to get organized as well!  One of the things that I started was to create a running google document with all of the challenges that I would like to do, their type (color, sketch, product, inspiration, etc...), and the date due!  This is allowing me to make one card that fits several challenges!  Its so much easier to do this when all of the challenges are in one place!  =)

Today's card is my first one for a new challenge: Off the Wall Craftiness.  It was a color challenge:

I really REALLY love these colors!  You can make such elegant and beautiful cards with this combination!  My card tonight was a little elegant with a whole lot of whimsical fun thrown in:

I really REALLY love this velvet ribbon!  I bought it in a matching set at my local craft store for ONE DOLLAR!  Yeah!  Six feet of each for one dollar!  It doesn't get any better than that!  I also really enjoyed stamping this background and using distress ink to get the aged beige color on both the sentiment tag and the flowers!

One more thing!  One of the sites I follow, Papercraft Star, is having a really great give-away!    The details can be found in the blog entry attached to the details below:
Well, this is about it for me today!  Happy Weekend to all!!!
