Embellish Color Trends - Birds Challenge!

Hi readers!  I just finished submitting my cards to Paper Crafts for their latest go-to sketch submission!  It was very fun!  =)
I also had time to enter a card into the latest Embellish Magazine Color Trends Challenge!  Along with their color challenge, I wanted to try a new technique!  I saw THIS TUTORIAL over on the Crate Paper blog!  Here's my card, including my handmade flower:
This challenge asked  you to include birds in your project!  I couldn't resist using the little birds from Lawn Fawn's Bannerific!  I also used Lawn Fawn stamps to create the patterned paper, and colored the flowers in with copic markers.  And how much fun is that flower?  I totally love it!  Again, I used the Embellish Color Trends Challenge for inspiration:
How has everyone's week been going? Here in Pennsylvania, it's been raining instead of snowing!!!  I'm hoping that keeps up, spring is almost here!!!  =D
