EBTKS Challenge #22 - Hair Accessories

Happy Wednesday everyone!  So this is my last challenge until Saturday!  I've really gotten into the spirit of making a card with some sort of constraint that forces me to think outside of the box!  This challenge really made me do just that!
So this challenge from EBTKS asks us cardmakers to use hair accessories as an element or embellishment in our final product.  Immediately, I thought of all of the cute girly types of accessories that many girls have.  But then I realized that I myself don't really have ANY of those things!  In fact, most of the time the only hair accessories I use are functional items that keep my hair out of my way.  So I decided to take a look at my totally practical, not cute at all accessories, which is when I discovered these:

BOBBY PINS!  We all have them, but how many of you have ever really LOOKED at a bobby pin?  I decided these were perfect for this challenge, especially considering the time of year!  The wavy side could be perfect for witch's hair, OR for spider legs!  Thus, my project was born:

I also used a stamp in a pretty creative way to get the spider's face.  This is actually the face of a duck from another stamp set, so I had to be very careful with my versamark, and actually did a little masking to keep the rest of the stamp from getting on my spider.  Isn't he cute?  =)

I hope that everyone is having a great week!  I've been just loving this fall weather and decorating everything for the new season!
