Happy Birthday Owls!!!

Good afternoon blogland!  I have a super fun card to share with you today!  Lately, there have been some fabulous challenges out there, and I've really been wanting to get back to playing along with more of my favorites!  Today I'm sharing a few of those favorite challenges in one card:

I used a bunch of my favorite products for this card!  First of all, I busted out my DeNami stamps and made the background with the Owl Petit Fours set!  I just love love LOVE those owls!  I really wanted to make a birthday card, but I only have two DeNami birthday stamps, and neither was a perfect fit.  Do you recognize this sentiment?  It's from the "Hoppy Birthday" Birthday Froggies stamp, but I altered it to say Happy Birthday!  =)  It ended up working out well for this project, but I definitely need to invest in more DeNami sentiments! =) 

I also used some of my favorite grosgrain ribbon, Adirondack Espresso Ink, AND some of my homemade embellishments from my MoldMuse molds and some purple Sculpey clay!

Let's Party!

Good evening blogland!  Well, we've had quite a busy couple of days!  We have had a TON of rain, and it's caused a lot of muddy water to infiltrate our basement.  Thus, many of my evenings have been consumed with damage control on that!  Luckily, it seems that the water has stopped for now, and hopefully we can take on that project on Saturday if the weather holds out!

Anyhow, tonight I FINALLY got some more crafty time in, and I really like the card that I came up with!  Here's how it turned out:

I just love LOVE that American Crafts patterned paper!  It's so much fun!  I also love the Lawn Fawn-y goodness on this card, and the sticky chipboard letters that I inked up with Memento Sea Breeze chalk ink!  Speaking of sticky, I also used lots of scor-tape, glue dots, and a 2-way glue pen on this card! =)   This card was inspired by three challenges:

I hope everyone is having a lovely spring!  These colors remind me of the colors of spring since everything is finally starting to grow!  We're starting our garden this week!  Do any of you have a garden?  What do you grow?  =)

Today, for whatever reason, has felt like a long looooong day!  Luckily, I had some time to get a little bit of crafting done!!!  =D  Here's today's card:

I really wanted to play along with this week's Card Patterns Sketch!  I've also been itching to use this particular American Crafts patterned paper, so this was the perfect opportunity!  I paired it with some PTI goodness, some brads as accents, and some crocheted trim, and voila!  This card was inspired by:

Ladybugs!!!

Hey there blogland!  We are smack dab in the middle of a wonderful weekend at HOME and I'm loving it!  It's been so long since we had a nice, quiet weekend at our house and I have to say it's been lovely!  =)  Not only did I get a bunch of housework done, but I also had LOTS of time this morning to craft!  =D

I was so excited to use this new stamp set from PTI that I recently bought.  It's not a newly released set, but it's new to me and I love LOVE ladybugs!  Anyway, here's my card:

I am really happy with how this card turned out!  I just love LOVE this sentiment, it's so true that you have to stop and enjoy the little joys  in life, like having a weekend at home!  =) 
All of these papers came from my box of scraps, which I am trying to use up!  This was convenient since Tuesday Throwdown's challenge this week was scraps!  =)
