DeNami December Gift Tag Blog Hop!

Hi there readers!  Hopefully you found your way here for the DeNami December Blog Hop!  This is my first time as a blogger in a blog hop, so I'm super excited to be participating!  Here are all of the Blog Hop Details:

When: The blog hop starts on December 12th at 8 AM, PST. However, you have until December 13, 2010, 11:59pm PST, to leave comments on all the blogs (to be eligible for a prize).

Why: To be inspired by stunning tags featuring DeNami Deisgn stamps and also the chance to win mini shopping sprees on the DeNami Design website!

Prizes: We are giving away THREE $20 gift certificates to our website! We'll be giving away one gift certificate to a random participant (DT members not eligible) and then we'll also be giving away TWO gift certificates to TWO people who comment along the hop!

When I went to make my gift tag, I was feeling Christmased out!  And since I figured a lot of people would make holiday tags, I decided to make a birthday tag for my little nephew's 3rd birthday:

I just can't get enough of that "Hoppy Birthday" DeNami stamp!  Colored the image and added some stickles to the hats and decorations.  I also made the multicolored twine with a technique I found in CardMaker Magazine.  I took red, blue, yellow, and orange baker's twine, tied them together, laced them with craft glue, twisted them up, and taped down the ends to let it dry.  It turned out to be a really fun looking added touch!  Here's a few close-up shots of what I did:
