Happy St. Patrick's Day/Hey Buddy!

Hi readers!  Well I've been having quite an awesome weekend!  How is everyone?  I've been absolutely AMAZING lately!  First - I won the DeNami Buttons Challenge which guaranteed me a spot in the already full March Blog Hop, so YAY!  THEN, I was also featured on the Cards Magazine blog for THIS card!  WOO HOO!  This really has my mojo flowing this week!!!

I've got two fun cards for you today!  Here's the first one:
I'm not Irish, but my husband is!  He asked me about a week ago if I was gonna make any St. Patrick's Day cards, and I remembered that Hats off to You from Lawn Fawn has a St. Patrick's Day sentiment!  Thus, this card was born!  I paper-pieced the dog and his hat, so I'm submitting this for the current Lawnscaping challenge:

Current Challenge
Fun fun!  I also recently got the CUTEST little stamp set from PTI with airplanes!  My brother-in-law is becoming a pilot in Florida, so I just KNEW I wanted to send him a postcard with these stamps!  Here's what I made:

I seriously love the little vintage airplane!  I also used a sentiment from PTI's Fillable Frames #2 at the bottom of the card.  I wanted to make fun clouds, so I used the awesome cloud stamp from Lawn Fawn's Partly Cloudy.  I know this little guy with brighten my BIL's day!  =)  This card was inspired by the current City Crafter Challenge Blog - Nothin To It. (the challenge was to not add ribbons, buttons, or any sort of embellishment to your card!)

I also just submitted my first EVER cards for publication!  Eeek it was nerve-wracking but I'm proud of myself!  Let's see what happens!

OTWC #44

Hi readers!  I just have a quick card to share with you today that I made for a friend of mine.  It's kind of a funky little card but I really like it:
My one friend and I have kind of a joke about the word "bebop," and so I just couldn't resist putting the word with this little monster guy from daisy bucket!  This card was also inspired by the colors this week at Off the Wall Craftiness:
Note: So I'm apparantly too late for the challenge! =( Oh well, I created it with this inspiration in mind, so I hope you enjoy it anyway! =)

Weather Predictions...

Well, luckily I actually made it to work today!  We still had a 2 hour delay, and so school was a little crazy and stressful!

With all of this snow, I've been craving the springtime!  Luckily, I just got Lawn Fawn's Partly Cloudy for Christmas from my dear sister, and so I put that darling umbrella to good use!  Here's my first card:
I just can't get enough of that cute little umbrella!  I also love this color scheme from the Max and Whiskers paper pack from Basic Grey.  This card was inspired by the City Crafter Challenge Blog 41 Sketch for this week:

And then next, I just couldn't stop myself with those cute umbrellas!  I love the sentiment in this set that says "Have a Happy Shower!" and so I wanted to make a bridal/baby shower card, and here's what I came up with:
Seriously, how adorable are those umbrellas?  I just can't get enough!  I also love that DCVW patterned paper, and I used the skinnier raindrops from this set to make a little green raindrop edge for each side!  This card was inspired by Curtain Call Act 64 Color Challenge:
Those colors are just SO fun!  =) I had such a great time making these cards!  Thank you to my dear sister for getting me this awesome stamp set for Christmas!  Here's a picture of the two of us recently, she's my absolute bestest!!!  =)
Well readers, this will probably be my last card post until Monday!  However, be sure to check back on Monday or Tuesday to get more details on my 6 month blog candy giveaway!  =)  Happy weekend to all and thanks for reading as always!

Wee Memories/Papercraft Star/Tuesday Throwdown Challenge Card

Hello readers!  Well, it's Saturday night and I have had a SUPER busy weekend already!  Yesterday, we attended a wedding for two of our close friends that was an absolute blast!  Today, we spent the day with family celebrating with a huge fall party!  Of course, I couldn't help but get some crafting in as well!  I have one card to share with you today that fits for several challenges!  Originally, I wanted to get this one done and in for the Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday fruit challenge AND for Papercraft Star's Challenge #16, but I didn't finish in time!  =(  Oh well, here's what I came up with!!!!  Luckily, I can still submit this for this week's Tuesday Throwdown Challenge #20:

I had SO much fun paper piecing this apple!  The chipboard letters were also really really fun to work with!  I inked up the chipboard letters with Barn Door distress ink, and added some blue ricrac and a flora doodle for a little flair!  I'm excited to give this card to a friend as a thank you card for being "sweet!"  =)

Well, I hope you enjoyed my card for the day!  Enjoy the rest of your weekends everyone!
