Hello to all! It's time for another fabulous
DeNami blog hop! This month our challenge was all about pretty pastels! This time of year is a GREAT time to work with pastel colors, so I was super excited to
try my hand at this challenge!
If you are just stumbling on this blog hop right now, head back
HERE to start from the beginning! If you've been hopping along you should have come here from the amazing blog of
Wendy Elliot!
I'm sure her project was just fabulous! Don't forget to leave a comment
on each blog for a chance to win a $20 DeNami gift certificate! =)
For this month's card, I chose to focus on aqua, pink, and yellow as my pastel colors! I used several different DeNami stamps, and here's the finished product:
I'm still just LOVING that three line border stamp! My homemade yellow flower comes from the large daisy blossom and the small daisy blossom! I stamped them, cut them out, flipped them over, and colored them with yellow copics! I sewed a button into the middle, and pulled up the petals for a more textural effect. It's hard to tell in the picture, but the flower sticks out really great and uses several shades of yellow to create a more realistic flower effect!
I hope you enjoyed this card! Let's get
you hopping along! Next up on the hop is lovely
Rochelle Washington, and I'm sure she has something absolutely fabulous lined up for you!!! Happy hopping everyone!
Super cuteness!!!
